Prior to leaving for your summer destination, you must successfully complete Summer Missions Training School - a week of intense training.

This training, which includes classroom studies and practical hands-on ministry, will prepare you for a fruitful summer of ministry.

During training, you will learn

• the Biblical basis for the importance of reaching children
  
• how to evangelize and disciple children utilizing the Wordless Book, Bible lessons, songs and missionary stories
• strategies for teaching effectively in various teaching situations
• how to effectively teach God's Word to boys and girls from a variety of religious backgrounds
• how to interact better with others - especially your teammates - as you learn interpersonal relationship skills
